Head Chef / Sous Chef
Description : Head /Sous chefs required for our soon to open Halifax Branch. Must have good experience in oriental cuisine, able to work all positions within an oriental kitchen, have good presentation skills, good leadership and development skills and a passion to drive the team in a busy kitchen environment. Relevant experience using Hygiene Management systems also required. Duties include managing the team, organising rotas, covering all positions during breaks, managing and ordering stock, reporting to general managers and back of house management team, able to work within a branded environment.

Kitchen Porter
Description : A good entry level position into The Chinese Buffet kitchen is that of the Kitchen Porter
Your main duties will be to wash and clean the dishes, pots and pans, to tidy up rubbish and to follow the Chefs orders. Basic vegetable preparation may be required. you will also be required to lift and carry sometimes heavy deliveries and put them away under the chefs instruction, this is a great role to learn about kitchen life and begin on the road that could become a passion, if you show determination and will to progress this is the place to start!

Description : Fry Chef position available now at our new to open Halifax branch and other branches:
The fry chef is responsible for frying the deep fried products using the deep fryers, they must keep control of their stock and control both the rotation and the order of stock, they have to cook to order for the buffet and have good basic frying knowledge, full training can be given, A good catering background is preferred for this role

Mix & Match Chef
Description : Mix & Match Chef position available now at our new to open Halifax branch and other branches:
Previous experience in Asian cuisine preferred but not essential, training could be provided. Duties will include, chopping vegetables, sorting vegetables in to portions for meals, keeping control of stock, keeping work surfaces and work area clean, good knife skills and kitchen background are essential for this position.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced dessert chef, our dessert selection is all about presentation as well as it is taste, you will be provided with a company recipe booklet and will receive training, chefs with relevant experience in kitchens producing desserts would be preferred. Duties include making large batches of bite size desserts, keeping section clean and tidy, control of stock and ordering of stock.
